Werewolf Model Kit Review

"A werewolf, also known as a lycanthrope, is a mythological or folkloric human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or an therianthropic hybrid wolf-like creature, either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction. Early sources for belief in lycanthropy are Petronius and Gervase of Tilbury."

Werewolf is always a hot topic among the model kit fans and has lots of creations from the original sculptors, today we're introducing Moontower Dracula Werewolf 1/6 vinyl kit.

Video Source

A new coming 1/6 werewolf released recently, produced by Moontower Model Kit and in a big scale 1/6, with fully sculpted details of hairs and teeth, etc.

This product is a recast version from Thailand, compared with the original version it has the hairs sculpted on the body and a scary face look that fits the imagination of a werewolf, but after all it's a recast one, so there're still some details missing or downgraded for the cheaper price and cost, especially for kits in a huge scale like this werewolf, shortages will be much more obvious if you take a carefully check on the separated kits.

For most of the resin/garage kit modelers, the only reason they'll buy such a huge half-statue is because it's powerful and looks cool, ignoring most of the details that should appear on the kits, but if you're not on of them, oppositely you're expecting a high quality model kit, the original one will be the best choice for you.
